ALW School of Dance was opened in 2010 by Amy to provide dance classes for children and adults in the local area.

Amy

Amy started dancing at the age of two and hasn't stopped.

After training for fourteen years at a local dance school, Amy went on to study professionally at The Centre Performing Arts College. Amy studied there for three years to achieve her teaching qualifications in ballet, tap and modern theatre.

Whilst at college, Amy performed in a variety of shows, pantomimes and ballets. Amy made a BBC TV appearance in ‘Spooks’ and performed various voice-overs for Sky TV. Amy also choreographed routines for in-house performances and pantomimes.

Amy then settled into teaching children and adults for various schools in London and Hertfordshire and organising local dance shows prior to settling in Wiltshire and opening ALW School of Dance to share her love of dance within the community.

Amy is passionate about teaching dance and feels a great sense of achievement when the students are enjoying themselves.

It’s our third party with A.L.W. School of Dance. My daughter loves them and every year they’re at top of her list!
